Pike fishing is available on a number of fantastic waters in neighbouring counties of Meath, Cavan and Monaghan. There are waters to cater for all anglers and the numerous small, medium and large waters provide excellent sport fishing to all legitimate methods. Spinning, lure fishing, trolling, fly fishing and dead bait fishing all produce results. Best results are achieved from a boat and our specialist guides have lots of experience in this area. Pike fishing does not generally require a licence or a permit. For more information on the pike fishing options available please visit our pike page on the navigation bar above or click HERE
Bass fishing is available on the County Louth and County Meath coastlines with surfcasting and lure fishing accounting for the majority of fish. Fly fishing can also produce excellent results. Some nice double figured fish are caught each season but the average size of fish is between 3lbs and 6lbs in weight. The stunning scenery of sections of the Louth coastline provides a fantastic backdrop to the fishing whilst providing the opportunity to land one of these very sporting fish. Bass fishing is free and no licence or permit is required. For more information on the bass fishing options available please visit our bass page on the navigation bar above or click HERE
